The Cloud — A House Journey From Opening to Closing

DJ and producer Hakan returns with a powerful new release, “The Cloud,” now available on all major streaming and download platforms. Blending atmospheric textures with a dance-floor-ready groove, “The Cloud” stands as the centre point of a creative trio of tracks shaped during months of experimentation, performance planning, and melodic exploration.

What makes this release special is the story behind it—a story that began with two purpose-built house tracks: “Opening’” and “Closing’.”

Designed for the Dancefloor

As a DJ with decades of experience, Hakan wanted to craft something he could rely on for his sets—unique productions that set the tone at the beginning of the night and wrap things up with impact at the end.

“Opening’” was created as a signature warm-up track, something that gently lifts the crowd while setting the energy for what’s to come. “Closing’” was shaped with the opposite intention: a late-night finale track that brings dancers together for that final emotional moment before lights up.

During production, both tracks shared a similar melodic DNA—a simple motif that kept resurfacing, reshaping, and evolving. That motif eventually grew into something larger, something more expansive.

The Birth of “The Cloud”

While refining those themes, Hakan found himself drawn to a new idea—a drifting, airy melody that felt both uplifting and introspective. That idea became “The Cloud,” a track that floats between progressive house, deep house, and melodic dance, carrying listeners through a vivid emotional space. It’s both a standalone release and the natural extension of the creative world built by “Opening’” and “Closing’.”

Inspiration for What’s Next

The same melodic spark that gave life to all three tracks also inspired Hakan’s upcoming release, “Work Eat Sleep Repeat”—a high-energy commentary on the modern cycle we all find ourselves in. Built with a driving rhythm and a catchy hook, it will continue the sonic identity that began with “Opening’” and “Closing’” and crystallised in “The Cloud.”

Out Now

“The Cloud” is officially out now on all major platforms worldwide. Whether you’re a DJ searching for a set-ready melodic piece or a listener looking for something hypnotic and uplifting, this release offers a rich and immersive house experience.

I’m Hakan

“Hakan”– The Mind Behind the Beat”

in a world driven by rhythm, one man’s journey stands out—not for the fame, but for the soul behind the sound. Hakan began as a teenage DJ in Turkiye, not with expensive gear or big crowds, but with a passion that couldn’t be taught. He spent hours learning the craft—on cassettes, old mixers, and borrowed records—chasing a deeper connection with music. When he moved to the UK, the clubs were larger, the nights longer, but Hakan’s mission never changed: move hearts, not just feet.

For him, DJing wasn’t about ego or hype. It was about energy, emotion, and elevation. That’s why he wrote Best DJ: DJ’s Guide to Music, Mindset and Mastery—a book for dreamers, creators, and sound warriors. It’s not just a guide to mixing—it’s a philosophy of rhythm, resilience, and self-discovery.

The true DJ isn’t just someone who plays tracks… but someone who creates moments. Because music fades. But a feeling? A memory? That can last forever. He now is the head of the Best DJ Podcast, bringing you all his experiences uncensored raw and honest

This is more than music. This is mastery.
