For Hakan, a recent visit to Bridlington to spend time with an old friend became much more than a catch-up. Walking barefoot through the town and along the beach, surrounded by the atmosphere of the seaside, the open air and the natural world, sparked an idea, a song about something we all share, yet can so easily take for granted: the gift of being alive.

That moment became “We Alive.”
